BIRMINGHAM ELECTRIC is the brainchild of American expat singer/songwriter Andrew Evans, produced by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s Malcolm Holmes and Berlin techno guru Mark Reeder (Factory Records, MFS Records). Birmingham Electric makes synthpop and electronic post-punk that’s built for live rooms: driving basslines, sharp hooks, and a dark, cinematic sheen.
The band’s second album – “Terra Incognita” (due April 2026) – features special guests including Peter Hook (Joy Division, New Order) and Marco Pirroni (Siouxsie and the Banshees, Adam and the Ants) and Siobhan de Maré (Mono, Violet Indiana).
